About Brenda DeLeon Perez

Brenda DeLeon Perez was born in a small town in Arizona and moved to Chicago at age 11. Soon after, the Windy City earned the title of being called home. In her free time, she loves to spend her time with her family. Although she is not a mother herself, she plays a big role in raising her five nephews and 8-year old brother, and seeing those kids grow up is the highlight of her life.

When Brenda graduated high school, her plan of action was to pursue her dream of being a massage therapist. Although some may say that was a silly dream, she knew that helping people even in the slightest, filled her with immense happiness and made her career path only more obvious. At a young age, seeing her parents run and be the only employees at their restaurant, coming home exhausted from a long day’s work, she knew that something had to be done. She began by starting small, helping relative relax. Slowly she started reaching out to others that needed a break from the real world. Brenda studied at The Soma Institute and earned her place in Principles and Honors list. After her year at Soma and volunteering at the famous Chicago Bank of America Marathon, she realized that sports massage was her favorite type of therapy. Being an athlete herself, she understands the importance of maintenance and preparing for the big game or race.
